Bmw x4 2024 Overview

Hello friends. Today we will talk with you about another excellent car.
This car is a 2024 BMW X4 model.
Let's go.
The BMW X4 is a longer and lower version of the X3 SUV. It has a sleeker look, with a more angular design than the X3. It's sportier and has a more distinctive look, but it also has less passenger and cargo room. Also, you have to pay a lot more for an X4 than for a similar X3. But they're the same cars, with just a few differences in the equipment.
SUVs are usually used as family vehicles that are practical for taking kids to sports practice or for summer road trips with all the luggage. However, the 2024 BMW X4 doesn't follow that trend. It has a sleeker, sportier design with a sloping roof, which gives it a more attractive look compared to the boxy X3.
While the sporty look is cool, it comes with some drawbacks. The coupe-style profile means less cargo space and less headroom in the back seat. But don't worry, the X4 still has all the features that make the X3 such a popular choice in the compact luxury crossover market.
All-wheel drive is standard, and the base model has a powerful four-cylinder turbo engine. For a more exciting driving experience, you can get the X4 M with 503 horsepower. We'll review that model separately.

What's New for 2024?

The BMW X4 is staying the same for the 2024 model year, so you can keep driving this sporty SUV as it is for a while longer!

2024 BMW X4 Exterior Design

The 2024 BMW X4 is a premium two-door SUV with a coupe-style silhouette. It has the iconic BMW grille and adaptive LED headlights. You can also get it with 21-inch wheels if you want.
If you get the M Sport package, it comes with an aerodynamic body kit and black-glossy exterior trim. There are 13 different colors to choose from - from classic shades like white and dark gray to bold options like yellow and blue. The X4 M has even more options, including the M-designed wheels.

Pricing and Which One to Buy

The new BMW X4 is available to buy at around $56k The base model is $55K, but you can upgrade it to around $67K with some extra features.
Under the hood, there's a turbocharged six-cylinder engine, which is pretty impressive. But the four-cylinder turbo engine in the 30i is still pretty powerful. We'd go for that one because it's more fuel-efficient, and we'd also get the Premium package for all the cool features like heated seats and a heads-up display.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

The standard BMW X4 xDrive30i has a turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 248 hp and 258 lb-ft. It's pretty quick, hitting 60 in 6.2 seconds.
If you want even more power, check out the X4 M40i. It has a 3.0-liter turbo 6-cylinder that makes an insane 382 hp and 365 lb-ft! On the track, it can hit 60 in just 4.2 seconds! The sound of that engine is amazing, and it has launch control.
Either X4 has an 8-speed auto that sends power to all 4 wheels. They're both great SUVs – they handle well and ride comfortably.

BMW X4 models

The 2024 BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover, and though it has four doors, it is sometimes referred to as an SUV coupe. It comes in xDrive30i and M40i trim levels. You can also get a high-performance X4 M, which we review separately.
A turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (248 horsepower, 258 lb-ft of torque) powers the X4 xDrive30i, while the X4 M40i has a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine (382 hp, 369 lb-ft of torque). Both powerplants pair with an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel-drive system.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) predicts that the X4 xDrive30i will achieve a fuel efficiency of 21 miles per gallon in the city and 28 miles per gallon on the highway. However, during our tests, we observed a fuel economy of 33 miles per gallon on the highway.
The EPA estimates that the X4 M40i will have a fuel economy of 21 miles per gallon in the city and 26 miles per gallon on the highway. However, during our time with this model, we were able to achieve a real-world fuel economy of 28 miles per gallon on the highway.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

The X4's interior is a testament to its clean, contemporary design. The center console is reminiscent of a superhero's shield, with a sleek, floating touchscreen taking center stage. While the X4 offers 35.5 inches of legroom in the rear, it falls short of the more practical 36.4 inches offered by the X3. Furthermore, the X4 compromises on cargo space. With all seats in place, it provides only 19 cubic feet, but with the rear seats folded down, it expands to 51 cubic feet. In contrast, the X3 offers 29 and 63 cubic feet, respectively.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The base-model X4 comes with HD radio and a 12-speaker sound system. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability are standard, which allow you to seamlessly connect the vehicle with your device. An integrated navigation system is also standard, and the infotainment system comes with a 12.3-inch display screen.

Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

The X4's warranty is great when compared with the coverage offered by less expensive mainstream models, but it's merely average when viewed next to the protection provided by its rivals in the luxury segment. Complimentary scheduled maintenance is provided. Not all models in this segment offer this perk, so that's a feather in the X4's cap.
Limited warranty covers 4 years or 50,000 miles
The powertrain warranty covers 4 years or 50,000 miles
Complimentary scheduled maintenance covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles
