Audi Q3 2025 Overview

The Audi Q3, which is set to be discontinued in 2025, is one of the most affordable luxury compact SUVs in its segment. Despite its lower price point, the Q3 strikes a perfect balance between luxury and practicality.
If you are ready, friends, let's take a look at all the characteristics of the Audi Q3. Before don't forget to like, share, and subscribe to the channel.
While the Q3 may not be as powerful as the BMW X1 or the Mercedes-Benz GLA-class, which both offer at least 30 more horsepower, it still has a few tricks up its sleeve. The Q3 comes equipped with a range of standard features, including heated leather seats, a sunroof, and adaptive cruise control.
The Q3, which looks like a slightly shrunken version of the Q5, retains Audi's focus on cutting-edge technology and exceptional handling.
With the Audi Q3 40 being removed from the lineup for 2025, the Q3 S Line 45 continues to offer a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 228 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque.
Although the Q3 may not be the top performer in its competitive class, it stands out with its high-quality materials and thoughtful technology throughout.

What's New for 2025?

The highlight of the news is the discontinuation of the Q3 40 Premium and Premium Plus models, leaving the Q3 45 Premium and Q3 45 Premium Plus for the 2025 model year. However, the Q3 45's more powerful version of the shared 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine remains the superior choice.
The cosmetic updates include the addition of the Black Optic Plus package. This package features new 19-inch black alloy wheels, new carbon inlays, black exterior trim elements, embossed front sport seats, and other subtle design elements.

Pricing and Which One to Buy

The cost of the Audi Q3 in 2025 begins at $41,095 and rises to $43,895, contingent on the model and additional features. The S line 45 has always been our preferred option, and now it is the only choice. With increased power and nearly identical fuel efficiency (the current 45 engine is just 1 mpg more efficient than the previous 40 engine), it is a change we can support. Both the Premium and Premium Plus trims are well-equipped.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

The Q3 comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which is tuned to deliver 251 pound-feet of torque in the Q3 45. The eight-speed automatic transmission distributes power to all four wheels through the standard quattro all-wheel drive system.
It's important to note that the Q3 is not the fastest in its class. The best time we could achieve in the 0-60 sprint was 7.3 seconds, which we recorded a few years ago during our testing of the Q3 45. However, the transmission operates smoothly and offers a Sport mode as well as the option for manual operation.
The steering, although responsive, lacks a heavy feel. The suspension is designed for comfort rather than performance, but a more aggressive suspension would be out of place here.
Overall, the chassis and engine work well together, providing a pleasant and occasionally spirited driving experience.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

The current second-generation Q3, which was introduced for the 2019 model year, has effectively addressed all the issues we had with the previous model. It is larger, constructed from superior materials, and equipped with upgraded technology and more intuitive controls. This has resulted in a vastly improved driving position and increased front-seat comfort, thanks to the eight-way power adjustments and lumbar support for the driver.
The Q3 now feels like a true four-ring car, thanks to the standard panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, and heated front seats. For those who desire even more luxury, there is the option to add ambient interior lighting, a fully digital gauge cluster, and contrasting microsuedes on the dashboard and doors, all at an additional cost.
However, even with all these upgrades, the rear seat passengers may experience discomfort during longer trips due to limited rear legroom. Nevertheless, we were able to fit six carry-on suitcases in the cargo area and an additional 12 bags with the rear seats folded. This is less than what we could fit in the X1, but comparable to the Jaguar E-Pace.

Side assist with rear cross-traffic assist

The Audi side assist feature informs you about vehicles in your blind spots while you are driving. When you are reversing, the rear cross traffic assist feature alerts you of an approaching vehicle and applies a sudden brake if necessary.

Traffic sign recognition

The system, which is based on cameras, can identify speed limits and road signs. It then alerts the driver through the Audi virtual dashboard. Additionally, it can be configured to provide visual warnings when the vehicle exceeds the speed limit indicated on the road signs.
